Youth Strength & Conditioning

At Barbell Strategy, we like to keep it simple - we believe in barbells and kettlebells. In this program, you will get lots of exposure to the traditional powerlifts (squat, bench press, and deadlift), but our history is centered around the Olympic lifts (snatch, clean, and jerk), so you’ll get practice with those too. All these movements can seem deceptively simple, but provide a lifetime of challenges to master!

If strength is your goal, our strength program is the best choice for you! This program is planned in 6-12 week dedicated training blocks consisting of a 60ish minute workout four days a week. It develops your base strength with traditional barbell lifts such as squat, deadlift, bench press, and overhead press. We finish each day with anti-glycolytic training to make the program perfect for both strength and endurance athletes. Everyone can benefit from getting stronger.

This special time is set aside for more focused instruction for middle and high school students. This is the age where kids can make the most progress and set themselves up for success in life. Getting strong and healthy early will have long-lasting benefits.
