Strength & Conditioning - Evening Edition

Try a more relaxed approach to strength training with flexible timing. We’re open from 4:45 to 6:30 every weekday evening. Be ready for an hour of work, but get into the gym when you can - no need to rush. We have two evening programs to choose from, both centered around the barbell and make heavy use of the kettlebell.

At Barbell Strategy, we like to keep it simple - we believe in barbells and kettlebells. In this program, you will get lots of exposure to the traditional powerlifts (squat, bench press, and deadlift), but our history is centered around the Olympic lifts (snatch, clean, and jerk), so you’ll get practice with those too. All these movements can seem deceptively simple, but provide a lifetime of challenges to master!

If strength is your goal, our strength program is the best choice for you! This program is planned in 6-12 week dedicated training blocks consisting of a 60ish minute workout four days a week. It develops your base strength with traditional barbell lifts such as squat, deadlift, bench press, and overhead press. We finish each day with anti-glycolytic training to make the program perfect for both strength and endurance athletes. Everyone can benefit from getting stronger.

You can check out the daily workout on our website. We program it to progress your strength and fitness over time, but it’s not so rigid that you can’t miss a day. We believe our smart approach to programming sets us apart.

New to lifting? Barbells and kettlebells are easy and safe to start with, and our coaches are there to teach you everything you need to know. No experience necessary.
